Summary: The role of Process Operator involves assisting in the operation of basic plant equipment to produce products safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation of basic plant equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and clean the plant.
- Load and unload degreasing operations and etching baskets.
- Pack products including BiChlorTM, FMTM, and others.
- Perform grit blasting and assist in coating line operations.
- Support shake, wash, and dry operations in the Refurbishment Centre.
- Collect and record quality and production data.
Key Skills:
- CCNSG certification or willingness to attend a 2-day course.
- Experience in assembly, small parts, metals, coatings, or welding.
- Ideally NVQ level 2 preferred.
- Non-smoker and non-vaper; must not suffer from asthma.

The Role
As a Process Operator, you will assist in the operation of basic plant equipment producing required product safely and to the correct cost and quality. Rotating shift pattern which will include: 4 on 6 off/2 days/2 nights
Your duties and responsibilities will be
- You will be required to be trained and competent to undertake basic plant operations.
- Cleaning the plant and maintaining housekeeping standards.
- Loading and unloading the degreasing operation.
- Loading and unloading etching baskets.
- Packing including BiChlorTM, FMTM and other product.
- Grit blasting.
- Loading and unloading coating lines.
- Assisting in shake, wash and dry operations in the Refurbishment Centre.
- Collection and recording of quality and production data.
Applicants will need a CCNSG in date OR be prepared to attend a 2 Day Course following successful interview.
You will have the following qualifications and experience
- CCNSG – or be willing to attend & fund a 2-day CCNSG Course.
- Previous experience of assembly, working with small parts, metals, coatings or welding etc. or similar.
- Ideally NVQ level 2 preferred.
- You must be a non-smoker, non-vaper and must not suffer with Asthma due to the conditions of the Site environment.
