Summary: The role of Senior Process Safety and Risk Advisor involves leading process safety excellence initiatives at a major client site in Sabine Pass, TX. The advisor will focus on embedding a strong safety culture through training, risk assessments, and coaching, while possessing deep technical knowledge in process safety and risk assessment. This position does not include leading OSHA PSM program development or implementation. The contract is for one year with the possibility of extension and benefits offered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate risk assessments, HAZOPs, and process safety studies.
  • Develop and deliver training related to risk and process safety.
  • Engage in other risk and process safety duties as required.

Key Skills:

  • Engineering degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or Process Safety Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Knowledgeable in Petrochem industry and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience leading/facilitating risk assessments using HAZOP, scenario-based risk assessments, bow-tie analysis, or other methodologies.
  • Preferred competency in consequence modelling tools (e.g. Phast).

Airswift has been tasked by a major client looking for a Senior Process Safety and Risk Advisor to work in Sabine Pass, TX for 1-year with possibility of extension and benefits offered.

Description:

Champion and lead of process safety excellence across our operations, embedding a strong safety culture through targeted training, field engagement, structured risk assessments and analysis, and leadership coaching. A dynamic communicator with deep process safety / risk assessment technical knowledge.

Key responsibilities are to facilitate risk assessments, HAZOPs, process safety studies, development and delivery of training, and other risk & process safety duties as required.
This position is not to lead OSHA PSM program development or implementation.

Qualification & Experience

- Engineering degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or Process Safety Engineering (or equivalent)

- 10+ years of relevant industry experience

- Knowledgeable in Petrochem industry & Regulatory requirements
