Summary: VARITE is seeking a qualified Process Engineer - Trim & Final for a 12-month fixed-term position in Gaydon, UK. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers in the Trim and Final area, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Develop and implement department strategy for power tooling, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Implement efficient manufacturing processes for Trim and Final operations, ensuring quality standards, cost targets, and delivery schedules are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product design for manufacturability and resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses, and capacity planning for new product introductions and process improvements.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, identifying and mitigating potential risks in the manufacturing process.
  • Evaluate and select equipment, tools, and technologies to optimize production capabilities.
  • Provide technical expertise to resolve manufacturing issues or bottlenecks in Trim and Final operations.
  • Support the launches of new vehicles, providing relevant process, tooling, and facilities.
  • Implement ECR/ECN with cost efficiency and sustainable process mapping.
  • Develop cost-effective solutions on Poka Yoke.

Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses & capacity planning to support new product introductions & process improvements.
