Summary: The Process Engineer role based in Glascoed offers an opportunity to work with a leading Defence organization in the UK. The position involves developing manufacturing processes from concept to commissioning and qualification, with a focus on system integration. The successful candidate will serve as the primary contact for process-related queries within the team. This is an 8-month contract with a 4-day working week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop manufacturing processes from concept through to commissioning and qualification.
• Act as the first point of contact for process queries within the team.
• Carry out risk assessments of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Utilize project/risk management tools and techniques.

Key Skills:

• Minimum HNC / HND in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Significant experience in carrying out risk assessments of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Good understanding of project/risk management.
• Competent in the use of computers including Microsoft Office.
• Formal training in Programmable Logic Control (PLC).
• Experience in manufacturing in a high hazard environment.
• IOSH Managing Safety / NEBOSH Certificate.
• Green Belt Six Sigma.
