Summary: Join a leading aerospace and defence organisation as a Process Engineer in Glascoed, where you will develop innovative manufacturing processes on a full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new manufacturing processes in line with Engineering Plans and Budgets, ensuring robustness, timeliness, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with industry standard controls for long-term process stability, including Lean Principles, Process Control Plans, and PFMEAs.
- Specify and qualify new equipment, collaborating with suppliers to meet deadlines and ensuring regulatory and safety standards are met.
Key Skills:
- Minimum HNC / HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Chemical, or equivalent.
- Strong technical and manufacturing background with the ability to work under pressure and show initiative.
- Experience in prioritising a varying workload while maintaining high quality standards and meeting deadlines.
- Desirable: Knowledge of materials processing and IOSH Managing Safety / NEBOSH Certificate.

Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for Process Engineers to add to their talented, hardworking team in Glascoed (full time onsite) on an initial 12 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same.
Rates:
Process Engineer £44.40 per hour / umbrella
The role:
* Develop new manufacturing processes, in line with Engineering Plans and Budgets. Technical solutions and processes must be robust, timely, cost-effective and meet Customer expectations
* Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with industry standard controls that ensure long term process stability, including: Lean Principles, Process Control Plans, PFMEAs; plus awareness of Programmable Logic Controls and Visual Management Systems on automated process lines
* Specify and qualify new equipment, often working with suppliers to meet tight deadlines. Ensure all process equipment meets regulatory and safety standards
Skills:
To succeed within this role, you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:
* Minimum HNC / HND Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Chemical, or equivalent
* Have a good technical and manufacturing base, show initiative and be able to work under pressure
* Prioritising a constantly varying workload, in parallel with maintaining high quality standards and meeting deadlines
Desirable
* Experience and demonstrated knowledge of materials processing
* IOSH Managing Safety / NEBOSH Certificate
