Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and evaluating process design solutions for water treatment projects
  • Supporting the production of technical documentation including scopes of work, drawings, and risk assessments
  • Preparing and reviewing detailed design calculations and specifications
  • Assessing Whole Life Cost and TOTEX implications of design options
  • Contributing to the development of performance guarantees and value-driven engineering solutions
  • Reviewing project scopes and deliverables to ensure they meet high standards and required outputs

Key Skills:

  • HNC/HND or Degree-level qualification in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering/scientific field
  • Strong understanding of process engineering principles, standards, and relevant regulations
  • Experience in clean water treatment design or optimisation preferred
  • Working towards Chartered Engineer status (or already Chartered) is a plus
  • Skilled in solving complex engineering problems with innovative thinking
  • Confident communicator with excellent collaboration and influencing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Google Workspace is a bonus
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Enthusiasm for professional development and industry best practices

We’re looking for a Process Engineer to join a growing team and play a key role in shaping the future of clean water treatment.

This is a long term outside IR35 contract position with flexibility for hybrid working.

As a Process Engineer, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex capital projects, driving the development of sustainable and cost-effective solutions for water treatment works. You'll help to ensure high-quality, compliant outcomes that support both business goals and regulatory requirements.
