Summary: We are looking for multiple Process Engineers to join a large pharmaceutical client on a contract basis for an initial 6 months, with a high chance of extension. The ideal candidates will have strong experience in Chemical API and related equipment, as well as hands-on experience in design reviews, process safety, and automation controls. A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and an Engineering Degree are required. Candidates must also have the right to work in Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Chemical API and equipment such as powder handling, mixing, isolation, and drying.
  • Utilize containment systems, including isolators, gloveboxes, and flexible containment.
  • Conduct design reviews and manage technical expectations, including PFD’s, P&ID’s, material/energy balance, and walkdowns.
  • Implement process safety and risk management practices, such as HAZID, HAZOP, DSEAR, and vent sizing.
  • Oversee C&Q knowledge, including conducting IQ/Q, executing protocols, and managing C&Q processes.
  • Apply knowledge of automation and controls, such as DeltaV, regulated systems, and change control.

Key Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in chemical API.
  • Engineering Degree.
  • Right to work in Northern Ireland.
  • Experience with design reviews and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of process safety and risk management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automation and control systems.
