Process Engineer

Summary: The Process Engineer role at FTV Proclad International Ltd involves supporting pre-production activities from bid stage to production release. The successful candidate will engage in creating engineering masters and manufacturing routings while prioritizing workload effectively. Key Responsibilities:

• Support pre-production activities to ensure project technical requirements are understood from bid stage to production release.
• Create engineering masters and Master Routing Templates.
• Manage Manufacturing Routings and ensure they meet customer contractual requirements.
• Provide sales and estimating support, including low-level technical reviews and manufacturing capabilities discussions.
• Review equipment and plant capability to meet customer orders and BOM.
• Ensure efficient manufacturing process routing steps and that routing packs carry all relevant drawings.
• Liaise with other departments on customer requirements, specifications, drawings, and BOMs.
• Prioritize workload in line with requirements and actively participate in meetings.

Key Skills:

• Experience in Process Engineering, preferably in a weld clad overlay and machining environment.
• Experience in a customer-focused organization delivering continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication and influencing skills.
• Self-motivated and innovative with high organizational and planning skills.
• Minimum of 5 years welding/machine shop manufacturing experience.
• Skilled user of MS Office.
