Summary: The Process Engineer role at BAE Systems in Glascoed involves supporting the development and improvement of manufacturing processes within a multi-disciplined Engineering team. The position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in manufacturing or process engineering who are adept at problem-solving and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and support manufacturing processes from concept to qualification
- Provide technical support and process expertise within the team
- Support commissioning, process improvement and risk management activities
- Drive continuous improvement across products and manufacturing processes
Key Skills:
- Experience within manufacturing or process engineering
- Strong understanding of engineering and production processes
- Knowledge of process control, process capability or Six Sigma beneficial
- Experience with PLC systems, NDT or materials processing advantageous
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Salary (Rate): £44.40/hr
