Summary: The Process Engineer role at BAE Systems in Glascoed involves supporting the development and improvement of manufacturing processes within a multi-disciplined Engineering team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support manufacturing processes from concept to qualification
  • Provide technical support and process expertise within the team
  • Support commissioning, process improvement and risk management activities
  • Drive continuous improvement across products and manufacturing processes

Key Skills:

  • Experience within manufacturing or process engineering
  • Strong understanding of engineering and production processes
  • Knowledge of process control, process capability or Six Sigma beneficial
  • Experience with PLC systems, NDT or materials processing advantageous
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Salary (Rate): £44.40/hr

Working Arrangements: 3 onsite and 1 day from home.

Duration: 12 months

Hourly Rate: £33 PAYE or £44.40 Umbrella

We’re recruiting for a Process Engineer to join BAE Systems in Glascoed, supporting the development and improvement of manufacturing processes within a multi-disciplined Engineering team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong manufacturing or process engineering background who enjoys problem-solving, continuous improvement and working on technically challenging projects.
