Key Responsibilities:
- Process Development & Optimisation: Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
- Data Analysis & Problem Solving: Monitor and analyze process data to identify trends and resolve operational issues.
- Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and apply value engineering techniques to drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to support the integration of new technologies.
- Ensure all processes meet internal standards and external requirements, maintaining documentation and supporting audits.
Key Skills:
- Degree in engineering or manufacturing related field.
- Experience with machining processes, fixtures, and CNC or specialized equipment.
- Strong data analysis and statistical problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.

The Company An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Process Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of complex components for the global engineering industry. Your New Role As Process Engineer, you will be responsible for optimising manufacturing processes for components such as cylinder heads, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance through continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
- Key responsibilities include process Development & Optimisation, design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and safety, implement best practices in machining, heat treatment, and assembly operations, Data Analysis & Problem Solving.
- Monitor and analyse process data to identify trends and resolve operational issues and apply root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve process stability.
- Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and apply value engineering techniques and drive cost reduction, waste minimisation, and efficiency improvementsCross-functional Collaboration.
- Work closely with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to support the integration of new technologies, equipment, and processes.
- Ensure all processes meet internal standards and external requirements and maintain documentation and support audits and quality reviews.
What You'll Need to Succeed Ideally you will have a Degree, engineering or manufacturing related and you will have experience with machining processes, fixtures, and CNC or specialised equipment, strong data analysis and statistical problem-solving skills and familiarity with CAD/CAM software and engineering documentation. Knowledge of ISO standards and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
