Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement assembly and in-process test processes and facilities.
  • Plan, develop, and implement installation timing plans with key suppliers.
  • Ensure robust process planning including build simulations and PFMEA’s.
  • Verify assembly processes and equipment at suppliers and manufacturing facilities.
  • Manage technical issues and escalate where appropriate.
  • Achieve equipment capability and availability targets.
  • Support the resolution of technical issues.
  • Plan, develop, and implement all written processes for manufacturing and tooling.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in Manufacturing/Engineering processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience in facility installation, project management, capability validation, commissioning, and product launch.
  • Ability to work within cross-functional teams and support projects from concept to launch.
  • Proficiency in CAD packages (e.g., Catia V6 & Teamcentre) for reviewing engineering drawings and models.
  • Understanding of safe automated and manual manufacturing systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for technical and manufacturing issues.

Company Description Segula Technologies has an opportunity for an ambitious Manufacturing/Process Engineer to join the team. This team supports pioneering electrification developments for a high profile range of electric vehicles. You will be at the fore front of implementing new manufacturing technologies for electric propulsion systems. Working with suppliers and multiple customers and departments you will be a strong communicator who is results driven and customer focused. This offers a large potential for personal growth within a consultancy who works with multiple customers and sectors. In Addition there is the exciting opportunity of periodic European & Overseas travel to work alongside technology leading suppliers.

Job Description You will utilise your knowledge to develop and implement assembly and in-process test processes and facilities to deliver the safety, quality delivery and cost objectives. Detailed planning, development and implementation of installation timing plans with key suppliers. Ensure robust process planning including build simulations and PFMEA’s. Assembly process & equipment verification at suppliers and at manufacturing facility Manage technical issues and escalate where appropriate. Achieve equipment capability and availability targets. Support the resolution of technical issues where appropriate. Planning, developing and implementation of all written Processes for manufacturing and all tooling, jigs and fixtures for manufacturing.

Qualifications Previous experience of Manufacturing / Engineering processes, tools and techniques with a hands on approach to engineering. Experience of facility installation, project management, capability validation, commissioning and product launch. Ability to work within cross-functional teams and flexibility to support projects from early concepts to Launch. Ability to use CAD packages to review engineering drawings and models (Catia V6 & Teamcentre etc) Understanding of safe automated and manual manufacturing system Ability to problem solve technical and manufacturing issues.
