Summary: The Process Engineer role is a 6-month contract position based in Bedok, Singapore, focused on developing and optimizing processes for new packaging technology of SAW products. The engineer will be responsible for designing experiments, analyzing results, and driving technology transfer between development and production lines. The position requires collaboration with multi-functional teams and a strong aptitude for research and development. Candidates should possess a degree in engineering and relevant experience in process engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize processes for new Packaging technology of SAW products
- Design statistical experiments and analyze results to optimize packaging architecture and/or process conditions.
- Defines package requirements for new technology and customer requirements.
- Drive new technology transfer between development and production lines
- Develops recommendations according to the nature of the new package technology, process, materials and tools/machine qualification and characterization.
- Support Process Engineering to improve process quality and yield of technologies released to manufacturing.
- Responsibilities may include documentation management and an understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
Key Skills:
- Degree in engineering or its equivalent with minimum 2~3 years work experience
- Strong aptitude for research and development and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and maintain relations with multi-functional teams and vendors
- Proficient in statistical data analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE) and comfortable with analysis software tools.
- Highly motivated and adaptable to our demanding, dynamic and rapidly changing work environment; flexibility work attitude for sudden changes in work assignments
- Development or Process engineering background specially in Wafer-level Bumping and Backgrinding process will be an advantage
