Summary: The role of Process Designer involves collaborating with various teams within a large European financial services organization to enhance its enterprise document and content management platform. The successful candidate will focus on defining the operating model, ensuring compliance and governance, and streamlining processes to improve platform adoption and efficiency. This position requires a blend of technical product fluency and strategic thinking to shape the platform's functionality and integration across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define platform boundaries and service catalogue for the document management platform.
- Manage API product standards, governance, and lifecycle.
- Establish governance and compliance operating models, including metadata standards and retention rules.
- Develop metrics for adoption KPIs and compliance outcomes.
- Redefine and streamline existing processes using LEAN methodologies.
- Modernize legacy integration with API-led approaches (nice to have).
- Familiarize with Microsoft 365 compliance planning and governance concepts (nice to have).
Key Skills:

We are supporting a large European financial services organisation undergoing a major transformation of its enterprise document and content management platform . They are looking for an experienced Process Designer to help define and streamline the operating model behind the platform – ensuring governance, compliance, and integration standards are clearly defined and scalable across the organisation. This is not a traditional process mapping role . The successful candidate will work at the intersection of platform strategy, architecture, compliance and product teams to shape how the platform operates and is adopted across the business.
Platform strategy & positioning -Defining platform boundaries (what’s in/out), service catalogue (e.g., storage, search, signing, templates), and adoption model; Technical product fluency (architecture-level) - Storage tiering (active documents/archive), versioning to archive, integration/orchestration patterns; API product management: standards, governance, lifecycle, deprecation/versioning; Governance & compliance operating model - Defining who owns metadata standards, retention rules, access model, aligning with risk/compliance stakeholders; Metrics and value realization - Adoption KPIs, search success, time-to-file/retrieve, compliance outcomes (audit findings), cost-to-serve; Process creation and streamlining - re-defining existing processes, streamlining by using LEAN; Nice to have: modernizing legacy integration with API-led approaches; Familiarity with Microsoft 365 compliance planning and governance concepts.
