We are seeking an experienced and creative Marketing & Communications Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Parkside Private Patients at Frimley Park Hospital. This is a high-impact, strategic post for a motivated professional who is passionate about communications that make a difference. You will lead the development and delivery of all marketing and communications activity for the Private Patient Unit (PPU), strengthening its profile, supporting sustainable growth, and enhancing the experience of patients, clinicians, and partners. Working closely with clinical teams, senior leaders, and external stakeholders, you will take ownership of brand management, internal and external communications, digital and patient-facing engagement, and targeted marketing campaigns. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine strategic marketing expertise with meaningful work in a healthcare setting, where your contribution directly supports patient choice, quality of care, and service development within the NHS. Main duties of the job
The post holder provides strategic and operational leadership for Business Support functions within the Private Patient Unit (PPU). This includes responsibility for Marketing and Communications, Social Media, Events Management. A core focus of the role is to develop, deliver and continuously improve the Parkside brand across all Frimley Health sites where private patient activity is delivered or being developed. This includes leading the social media strategy and hands-on content creation, particularly for Instagram and Facebook, ensuring engaging, compliant and high-quality digital content that increases brand awareness, promotes consultant services and enhances patient and stakeholder engagement. The post holder leads the production and upkeep of the Parkside Website alongside the annual Parkside Patient Magazine, including commissioning and editing consultant content, maintaining a comprehensive consultant directory, coordinating design, print and distribution, and ensuring alignment with the Parkside brand, values and Private Patient Strategy. The role has lead responsibility for planning, organising and delivering Parkside events, including GP engagement events, consultant networking events, VIP visits and promotional activity.
