Private Client Locum Solicitor
Summary: Our client near Potters Bar is seeking a Locum Solicitor or Legal Executive specializing in Wills and Probate for an ongoing role until a permanent hire is made. The position is office-based and offers flexibility with 4 or 5 days a week. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in private client matters, particularly in Wills and Probate. Immediate availability is preferred for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a busy caseload of Wills and Probate matters
- Handle probate and estate administration
- Draft and execute Wills
- Assist with Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Address Court of Protection deputyship and related matters
- Provide advice on trusts and tax planning
- Work independently and confidently
- Communicate professionally with clients
- Contribute to a wider team environment
Key Skills:
- Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales or Legal Executive equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years solid private client wills and probate experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in handling a varied and active caseload
Salary (Rate): £45.00 Hourly
