Key Responsibilities:
- Lead CDM Compliance: Plan, manage, and monitor the pre-construction phase, ensuring designs are safe to construct, occupy, and maintain.
- Coordinate Design Safety: Facilitate communication and cooperation between clients, designers, and principal contractors to achieve optimal safety outcomes.
- Develop and Maintain Key Information: Oversee the creation of Pre-Construction Information and the Health and Safety File.
- Client Advisor: Advise clients on their CDM duties and secure the formal Principal Designer appointment.
Key Skills:
- CDM Expert: Excellent working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015, with proven ability to resolve design and specification issues for safe outcomes.
- Design Acumen: Strong understanding of architectural, structural, MEPC, and Landscape design principles to lead risk mitigation.
- Proven Leader: Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire project teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Qualified: Professionally chartered (RIBA, CIAT, RICS, APS, or similar) with IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent, and completion of a Principal Designer Course.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our consultancy client and champion safety in the built environment. In this key role, youll ensure the safe realisation of our clients visions by acting as the appointed Principal Designer.
