Summary: The Principal Solution Architect for Legal Services will lead the architectural design and implementation of a new Case Management System within the Enterprise Architecture and Design team at Co-op. This role requires collaboration with various partners to ensure the solution aligns with business needs and architectural standards. The position is a 24-month fixed-term contract based in Manchester, offering hybrid working arrangements. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, along with experience in large-scale IT programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outline solution options, identify and make recommendations on key design decisions, and complete architectural design documentation.
- Collaborate with partners across Co-op to discuss technology design solutions.
- Demonstrate how the solution design will meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards.
- Provide technical and architectural leadership, sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues.
Key Skills:
- Experience working on large-scale programmes within an IT and Change environment.
- Familiarity with and understanding of case management processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make reasoned and evidence-based decisions.
- Good relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and challenge people of all levels of seniority.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical language for a non-technical audience.
