The position is primarily home-based with monthly office attendance in Salford, and it offers a 12-month fixed-term contract with potential for permanence. Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and negotiating draft contracts for the health category area.
• Leading and managing a team of Category Managers and Buyers.
• Pursuing procurement excellence through efficient and effective procurement projects.
• Analyzing data to identify cost savings and operational improvements.
• Supporting the Senior Category Manager in managing key areas of improvement.

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of health markets and their supply chains.
• Experience in UK public sector procurement and UK PCR2015.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerBI) and e-Procurement platforms (SAP Ariba).
• CIPS Level 5 Diploma in Procurement and Supply Operations or working towards it.
• Experience in leading a team and line management.
