Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver detailed studies to decision-makers across various business units.
- Build relationships with stakeholders including Programme Heads and subject matter experts.
- Lead study teams and deploy efficient study delivery methods.
- Ensure effective management of multi-discipline teams for timely delivery of engineering work.
- Manage customer relationships to aid business development and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure technical management of engineering output in line with agreed technical scope.
- Develop capability skills to match future workload needs and mentor team members.
- Plan and execute project and technical audits and reviews.
- Contribute to the development of best practices within the study community.
- Collaborate with supply chain partners.
- Ensure governance and assurance in study work for auditable decision-making.
Key Skills:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- Chartered Chemical Engineer status or working towards it.
- Experience in project phases from Prelim to Detailed Design.
- Development of Hazard Management strategies through various design phases.
- Experience in Hazard Management strategy development.
- DSEAR experience is beneficial.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
- Deliver detailed studies to decision-makers across various business units.
- Build relationships with stakeholders including Programme Heads and subject matter experts.
- Lead study teams and deploy efficient study delivery methods
- Ensure effective management of multi-discipline teams to ensure timely & efficient delivery of engineering work to meet customer agreed scope.
- Ensure effective management of the customer, including liaison and relationship development with existing and new customers, to aid the development of business, resolution of technical and delivery issues, and such that the customer is fully briefed and informed of progress.
- Ensure technical management of the engineering output to ensure delivery of technical solutions in line with agreed technical scope.
- Develop capability skills to match needs of future workload and coach and mentor members of the team.
- Ensure project and technical audits and review are planned & executed in order to impart learning and experience as appropriate and in line with agreed standards.
- Contribute to the development of best practices within the study community.
- Collaborate with supply chain partners.
- Ensure governance and assurance in study work for auditable decision-making.
You Will Have the Following Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
- Ideally a Chartered Chemical Engineer or working towards this status
- Experience in area of project in Prelim - going into Detailed Design
- Development of Hazard Management strategies through Concept and into Prelim / Detailed Design.
- Experience in Hazard Management strategy development would be beneficial
- DSEAR experience also beneficial.
