Summary: The Principal Network Implementation Engineer will focus on core and access network project delivery, requiring extensive experience in Cisco technologies and Nokia GPON/XGS-PON platforms. The role demands strong implementation skills in a fast-paced environment, along with the ability to lead projects autonomously. The position is hybrid, requiring two days on-site in London and two night shifts. The role is classified as outside IR35 with a daily rate of £500.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead core and access network project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
• Implement and troubleshoot carrier-grade network solutions.
• Produce technical documentation including High Level Designs (HLD) and Low Level Designs (LLD).
• Work with Cisco ASR and NCS devices, and Nokia GPON/XGS-PON platforms.
• Utilize Network Monitoring Systems (NMS) for network performance analysis.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues based on packet analysis.
• Design and implement migration strategies for network solutions.

Key Skills:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Cisco core and access networks.
• Strong experience with Nokia GPON/XGS-PON platforms in an ISP environment.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ASR and NCS device family.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of carrier technologies including BGP, OSPF/ISIS, and MPLS.
• Experience with Network Monitoring Systems like SolarWinds and Zabbix.
• CCIE-SP certification or equivalent experience and Nokia PON Certification.
