IC Resources is working with a global supplier of custom and standard MMIC designs who is looking for a Principal MMIC Engineer to join their team on a freelance basis.
The Role
The Role
- Outside IR35
- 6 month contract with potential extension
- Onsite in North-East UK
- Design, layout and RFOW of RFIC, MMICs and Microwave/mmWave modules.
- GaAs & GaN based MMICs for applications from 1-150GHz.
- Involvement in all aspects of the design process
- Must be comfortable in the RF test, characterisation, and validation of MMIC's
- Complete understanding surrounding Smith charts and s-parameter measurements
- Load-pull characterisation experience
