Also it would be preferred if candidates have PTC Creo experience however they may consider "exceptional" candidates with other 3D packages. What we're looking for: High performing teams need high performing and experienced individuals. To be suitable for this role, candidates will be able to demonstrate a number of the following attributes: Ideally Degree/HND/HNC qualified with experience in Mechanical Design and Development in Electronics packaging ideally in Defence or Aerospace industries. Experience of PCB Enclosure design for harsh environments (shock, vibration, climatic and electromagnetic) Good knowledge and experience in design for manufacture and design for assembly. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead mechanical designs and have experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team with the awareness and understanding of the challenges that this may bring. Awareness of proving and qualification activities to ensure compliance against requirements. Robust design experience across the Product Life Cycle (CADMID) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience of supplier engagement and development across internal and external multi-disciplinary teams. An understanding of structural/thermal/dynamic analysis would be advantageous.
