Principal Infrastructure/Civil Engineer (General Civils)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the production of highway engineering, drainage engineering, and general development infrastructure schemes.
• Manage and prioritize project workloads for junior team members.
• Prepare drawings and calculations for private and adoptable arrangements.
• Obtain ordinary watercourse consent and technical approval from key authorities.
• Utilize relevant design codes and standards in project execution.
• Manage non-technical project aspects such as contract management, financials, and resourcing.
• Engage with clients and external stakeholders effectively.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment while working on diverse projects.

Key Skills:

• BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with a relevant professional body (e.g., ICE) is preferred.
• Experience in highway and drainage design using relevant manuals and standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., Civils3D).
• Experience with drainage modeling software (e.g., MicroDrainage) is desirable.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively and deliver high-quality service.
