Principal ICA Engineer

Summary: The Principal ICA Engineer will develop and refine Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (ICA) designs for AMP8, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards. This role involves leading and mentoring team members, reviewing designs, and optimizing control panel engineering to enhance Thames Water's infrastructure. The position requires a strong focus on continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team. The work is primarily home-based with site visits in the Thames region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine ICA Template and Detailed Designs for AMP8.
• Ensure technical requirements are integrated into Project Technical Template ICA designs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members in ICA template design engineering.
• Review and approve ICA designs for compliance with engineering best practices and safety protocols.
• Undertake ancillary Instrument and Electrical design for ICA panels.
• Optimize control panel design engineering and develop standardized templates.
• Maintain high standards of functionality, operability, and reliability in designs.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.

Key Skills:
