Summary: The role of Principal FullStack Engineer involves leading a team of engineers on a critical project for a consultancy, requiring expertise in Java, C#, JavaScript, and active security clearances (SC and NPPV3). The position demands a strong background in full-stack development, microservices, and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing complex projects and ensuring adherence to technical standards. This is a 12-month contract with a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers on complex projects as a Principal FullStack Engineer.
  • Utilize active Security Clearance (SC) and NPPV3 in project execution.
  • Develop full stack solutions using C#, Java (Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate), and Rest APIs.
  • Build microservices and apply SOLID principles in development.
  • Engage in backlog refinement, user story preparation, and object-oriented analysis and design.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships effectively.

Key Skills:

  • Experience leading engineering teams on complex projects.
  • Active Security Clearance (SC) and NPPV3.
  • Proficiency in C#, Java (Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate), and Rest APIs.
  • Knowledge of microservices and SOLID principles.
  • Understanding of 4GL programming languages.
  • Experience in backlog refinement and user story preparation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Front End technologies (JavaScript or Vue.js) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AWS DevOps principles and orchestration tools (Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes) is desirable.
  • Knowledge of GDS standards for technical decision support.

Salary (Rate): £635 daily

My client is an instantly recognisable consultancy who require a Principle / Lead FullStack Engineer with Java, C#, Java Script and Active Security Clearance (SC), as well as Active NPPV3, to lead a team of Engineers in a critical project for an end client.

Key requirements:

  • Principal FullStack engineer with experience leading teams of engineers on complex projects
  • Active Security Clearance (SC) and Active NPPV3
  • Full stack experience in C#, Java (Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate), Rest APIs
  • Experience in building microservices and knowledge of SOLID principles
  • Understanding of 4GL (fourth generation programming language)
  • Experience in backlog refinement, preparation of user stories and object oriented analysis and design
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Front End (Java Script or View JS)
  • Awareness of AWS DevOps principles and orchestration tools (Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of GDS standards, to provide support on technical decisions
