Principal Software Engineer (Contract) Location: JD Sports, Bury, Gtr. Manchester. BL9 8RR. Requirement: 4 days in office, 1 remote (with flexibility) Contract Duration: 6 months Rate: £600 per day (Outside) Role Overview: JD Sports is iconic high street presence with over 4000 stores in 45 countries. If you thrive around a physical whiteboard with smart people solving complex problems this is one of most exciting tech roles in the industry. If you don’t want to collaborate in the Bury office this role isn’t for you. Following a recent re-platforming to the latest cutting-edge MACH architecture you will be solving problems at an unprecedented scale, influencing technical standards and architecture at pace. This is a hands-on role; you will know what good looks like and help lay the technical foundations, maintain a high engineering bar and drive engineering excellence in product squads.
