Principal Cyber Security Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical delivery teams and manage complex technical work.
• Engage with clients to define project scopes and deliver strategic risk management advice.
• Support the development of other cybersecurity professionals in their careers.
• Provide technical input into bid work and consultancy projects.
• Ensure compliance with HMG cybersecurity and information assurance policies.
• Oversee cybersecurity operations and incident response activities.

Key Skills:

• Expertise in security governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
• Knowledge of securing operational technologies (OT) and critical national infrastructure (CNI).
• Experience with cyber detection and response methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Line management experience and leadership skills.
• Understanding of cybersecurity industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
