Summary: The Principal Civil Engineer will play a crucial role in a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) project within the LNG sector, working in an office-based environment in Leatherhead, UK. This position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients to develop engineering solutions that meet project specifications. The role emphasizes the preparation of engineering documentation and compliance with design codes and standards. The contract is for 12 months and classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the lead engineer in preparing key project documentation, including design basis, material, and construction specifications.
• Perform and review analysis and calculations for structures, foundations, and civil infrastructure.
• Apply American and Euro norm design codes and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory and project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate with global project team members and manage multi-disciplinary project interactions for timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Skills:

• Experience in civil engineering within a consultant engineering firm or an end-user company.
• Strong ability to independently perform engineering studies and deliver technical reports.
