Summary: Urban Connect is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer for an established engineering design consultancy to work on AMP8 water frameworks for clients like United Utilities and Yorkshire Water. Urban Connect are currently supporting an established engineering design consultancy, recruiting for a Principal Civil Engineer to work on a number of AMP8 water frameworks including United Utilities and Yorkshire Water. They have recently been acquired by a Specialist Water Contractor meaning there is a very strong pipeline of work and they are open to taking this on an ongoing basis, with some of their contractors being with them for over 5 years.

Typical responsibilities will be:

  • Produce design calculations and drawings, in line with safety and quality deliverable standards.
  • Prepare design investigations, reports and specifications.
  • Design in compliance with relevant technical, professional and group standards.
