Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher for Key Stage 2 to join a supportive team at a two-form entry primary school in Greenwich. This full-time, fixed-term position runs from September 2026 until July 2027, offering the chance to make a significant impact in a welcoming school community. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that align with the National Curriculum in Key Stage 2
- Develop engaging and differentiated learning activities that challenge and support all students in reaching their full potential
- Work closely with the Teaching Assistant to ensure tailored support for students, especially those with additional learning needs
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents on academic achievements and development
- Lead, guide, and motivate Key Stage 2 pupils, ensuring they are well-prepared for their transition to secondary school
- Collaborate with the wider staff team and leadership to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the school
Key Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent experience teaching Key Stage 2 or a desire to teach it
- Excellent behaviour management techniques with a good sense of humour
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
- Passionate about supporting children's development both academically and socially
