Summary: The Pricing Data Architect role focuses on leveraging extensive insurance domain and data architecture experience to define the target data architecture and data model design for a strategic data platform. The position involves creating a connected data model that integrates granular data and supports analytics and AI solutions. The architect will also ensure consistency in data language and modeling standards across the organization. Additionally, the role may require standing in for the Head of Enterprise Architecture as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experienced data modeller with extensive knowledge of insurance industry data, referencing industry data standards such as ACORD or OMG
- Drive consistency in data language and modelling defining modelling standards
- Familiar with all modelling design patterns including 3NF, Dimensional, Data Vault to define the patterns we will use in our designs
- Creating an enterprise information model to support design guidance for physical data model designs and standards on entity definitions and relationships
- Developing, maintaining, standardising data models that support business processes, analytics, and AI-driven decision-making.
- Ensuring consistency across data structures, defining relationships between different entities within the insurance ecosystem.
- Optimizing database design for scalability, ensuring efficient querying and storage.
- Standardizing data definitions to improve interoperability across platforms.
- Guiding data modelling best practices within engineering and analytics teams
Key Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of insurance industry data

Role purpose
Primary focus is utilising your extensive insurance domain and data architecture experience, defining the target data architecture and data model design of Client's strategic single version of data truth platform. Our Lakehouse architecture allows us to integrate granular data from across the landscape, connected with key external data to create a single connected data model to power all analytics and AI solutions. Your role will also provide the relationship of our physical models to our information models
In doing so, the Lake house data architect/data modeller must:
- Experienced data modeller with extensive knowledge of insurance industry data, referencing industry data standards such as ACORD or OMG
- Drive consistency in data language and modelling defining modelling standards
- Familiar with all modelling design patterns including 3NF, Dimensional, Data Vault to define the patterns we will use in our designs
