Summary: The Power BI Developer/Analyst role involves designing and optimizing reporting solutions for a well-established organization in Birmingham. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to develop dashboards and reports that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. This is an initial 3-month contract with a high likelihood of extension through 2025. The position requires a mix of technical skills in Power BI, SQL, and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimise Power BI dashboards and reports
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective solutions
• Utilise SQL and Excel for advanced data analysis and model optimization
• Ensure data accuracy and improve reporting processes

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX and data visualisation best practices
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and optimisation
• Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and analysis
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine reporting needs
• Experience in optimising and automating reporting processes
• Experience with PowerApps is beneficial but not essential
