Summary: The Power Platform Specialist role involves designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the Power Platform environment, including Power BI, Power Apps, Dynamics CRM, and Power Automate. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and optimize solutions. This hybrid role includes travel to Bradford and other Yorkshire sites and is classified as inside IR35. The contract duration is for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside Developers and Data Analysts to design, develop, and implement solutions within the Power Platform environment, including the use of Power BI, Power Apps, Dynamics CRM and Power Automate; Including canvas apps and model-driven apps and Fabric
- Collaboration with Power Platform Architects and practices to contribute to technical designs based on business requirements.
- Working closely with Business Analyst and other stakeholders to understand and define business requirements.
- Implementing solutions that are optimised, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Maintaining thorough documentation on customisations, integrations, and processes.
- Provide support for Power Platform solutions, undertaking investigation and defect resolution as required, including the right alerting for each business platform
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in the Power Platform and related technologies to recommend improvements and updates to maintain the existing solutions
Key Skills:
- Proven experience of integrating MS Power Platform solutions with a variety of data sources;
- Experience of Back End MS Power Platform.
- Experience of analysing and diagnosing issues with MS Power Platform solutions;
- An understanding of Microsoft Azure and its integrations with Dynamics 365.
- Demonstrable experience of developing applications, workflows and dashboards using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dynamics CRM and Power BI
- Ability to work independently, with excellent organisational, planning, and self-management skills;
- The ability to work accurately and carefully, manage and complete projects to deadlines and deliver high quality work;
- Experience in the Utilities industry

Development & Customisation
