Summary: We are looking for a Power Platform Specialist to join our client on a 3-month contract, primarily based in Warrington. The role involves shaping and managing the Power Platform environment, focusing on governance, operational excellence, and risk management. The successful candidate will work closely with development teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs. This position requires a strong background in Microsoft Power Platform technologies and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement Power Platform environment strategy, including design and architecture across environments
- Execute and maintain governance frameworks, ensuring best practices, compliance, and scalability
- Oversee platform operations and administration, including monitoring performance, capacity, and usage
- Manage security, access controls, and data policies across the Power Platform ecosystem
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring platform stability and adherence to organisational standards
- Provide guidance and support to development teams on Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI best practices
- Ensure proper life cycle management, including ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business needs
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse)
- Proven track record in environment strategy and governance implementation
- Hands-on experience with platform administration and operations management
- Solid understanding of security, compliance, and risk management within Power Platform
- Experience with ALM practices, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of Azure services and broader Microsoft ecosystem (desirable)
