Summary: The Power Platform Developer role involves working on the VME modernization project within a development team, focusing on the development and testing of products in line with established standards. The position requires collaboration with the Dev Lead to manage work packages and ensure timely completion while adhering to quality criteria. The developer will also engage in process improvement and compliance with quality processes. This is a hybrid role based in Telford, requiring attendance in the office two days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new and existing products in accordance with agreed requirements and development standards.
  • Test products to ensure they meet the test strategy and are fit for purpose.
  • Assist the Dev Lead in estimating realistic timescales for work packages.
  • Complete allocated work within agreed time, cost, and quality criteria, providing progress reports as needed.
  • Manage and control problems and changes within the area of responsibility, negotiating with other teams as necessary.
  • Escalate problems, issues, and risks promptly as required.
  • Participate in process improvement and comply with relevant quality processes and procedures.
  • Utilize knowledge of Agile methodology, OO Analysis & Design techniques, and Data Modelling.
  • Maintain awareness of Risk, Change & Problem Management, Configuration Management, testing best practices, and DevOps Pipelines and ALM.

Key Skills:

  • Advanced level in Power Apps.

  • Ability to integrate SQL with Power Apps.
