Power Platform Developer

Summary: The Power Platform Developer role involves developing and supporting low-code business applications for a Financial Services client in London on a 6-month hybrid contract. The position requires collaboration with business users to design and implement innovative solutions using Power Platform technologies. Key responsibilities include application development, integration with Microsoft services, and adherence to change management procedures. The role also involves maintaining existing applications in HCL Notes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and support of low code SMBC BI Business applications using Power platform, M365, C#, JavaScript as well as support of HCL Notes (Lotus Notes) using Formula language and LotusScript.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Power Apps applications using Canvas or Model-driven app approach.
• Integrate Power Apps applications with Microsoft services such as Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
• Utilize Common Data Service (CDS) or other data sources to efficiently manage and store application data.
• Build and maintain plugins & PCF for PowerApps.
• Implement best practices, standards, and guidelines for Power Apps development to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Diagnose and resolve issues and bugs in applications, providing ongoing technical support and maintenance.
• Assist in creating comprehensive documentation and training materials for end-users and stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams on Power Platform projects, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• This role also requires following the Development Teams "Change Management Control procedures" to get proper and appropriate approvals prior to production updates.
• Assist in supporting of the remaining applications in Lotus Notes (HCL notes).

Key Skills:

• Experience with Power Platform, M365, C#, JavaScript.
• Proficiency in developing Power Apps applications (Canvas and Model-driven).
• Knowledge of integrating applications with Microsoft services (Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams).
• Experience with Common Data Service (CDS) or other data management solutions.
• Ability to build and maintain plugins & PCF for PowerApps.
