Summary: The Power Platform Developer role involves developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications using the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with business objectives. This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months and the possibility of extension. The role is based in London with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring 3 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Power Apps to meet business needs.
- Create automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline processes.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide insights into business operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal functionality.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance of existing applications.
- Stay updated on the latest features and best practices within the Power Platform ecosystem.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Software Development, Information Technology, Business Administration, Mathematics, Physics, or Cybersecurity.
- Proven experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of data integration and management, including experience with APIs and connectors.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modelling principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in the financial services or investment banking industry.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and related cloud technologies.
- Certification in Microsoft Power Platform or related technologies.
