Summary: The Power Platform Developer role involves developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications using the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months and the possibility of extension. The role is based in London with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring 3 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Power Apps to meet business needs.
• Create automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline processes.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide insights into business operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal functionality.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance of existing applications.
• Stay updated on the latest features and best practices within the Power Platform ecosystem.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Software Development, Information Technology, Business Administration, Mathematics, Physics, or Cybersecurity.
• Proven experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of data integration and management, including experience with APIs and connectors.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modelling principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience in the financial services or investment banking industry.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and related cloud technologies.
