Summary: The Power Platform Developer role involves developing and supporting low-code business applications for a Financial Services client in London on an initial 6-month contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Development and support of low code SMBC BI Business applications using Power platform, M365, C#, JavaScript, and HCL Notes.
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Power Apps applications using Canvas or Model-driven app approach.
- Integrate Power Apps applications with Microsoft services such as Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Utilize Common Data Service (CDS) or other data sources for application data management.
- Build and maintain plugins & PCF for PowerApps.
- Implement best practices, standards, and guidelines for Power Apps development.
- Diagnose and resolve issues and bugs in applications, providing ongoing technical support.
- Create comprehensive documentation and training materials for end-users and stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on Power Platform projects and follow Change Management Control procedures.
- Assist in supporting remaining applications in Lotus Notes (HCL notes).
Key Skills:
- Experience with Power Platform, M365, C#, JavaScript, and HCL Notes.

- You will collaborate closely with business users and stakeholders to understand requirements, design innovative solutions, and bring them to life through development, testing, and deployment.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Power Apps applications using Canvas or Model-driven app approach.
- Integrate Power Apps applications with Microsoft services such as Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
- Utilize Common Data Service (CDS) or other data sources to efficiently manage and store application data.
- Build and maintain plugins & PCF for PowerApps.
- Implement best practices, standards, and guidelines for Power Apps development to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Diagnose and resolve issues and bugs in applications, providing ongoing technical support and maintenance.
- Assist in creating comprehensive documentation and training materials for end-users and stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams on Power Platform projects, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- This role also requires following the Development Teams "Change Management Control procedures" to get proper and appropriate approvals prior to production updates.
