Power Platform Developer (Banking, Financial Services)

Summary: The role of Power Platform Developer focuses on designing, developing, testing, and deploying Power Apps applications specifically within the Financial Services sector. The position requires integration with various Microsoft services and emphasizes best practices for optimal performance. The developer will also be responsible for managing application data and resolving issues. This is a hybrid role based in Canary Wharf, London, with a contract duration of 6 months, extendable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Power Apps applications using Canvas or Model-driven app approach.
• Integrate Power Apps applications with Microsoft services such as Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
• Utilize Common Data Service (CDS) or other data sources to efficiently manage and store application data.
• Build and maintain plugins & PCF for PowerApps.
• Implement best practices, standards, and guidelines for Power Apps development to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Diagnose and resolve issues and bugs in applications, providing ongoing support.

Key Skills:

• Experience with Power Platform, Power Apps, Canvas, CDS, PCF.
• Knowledge of Microsoft services integration (Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams).
• Proficiency in HCL, Notes, Lotus Notes Version 9 - 12, Azure, C# .Net.
• Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving application issues.
• Understanding of best practices in Power Apps development.

Salary (Rate): £420 per day
