Power Platform contractors are engaged to design, build, and maintain solutions using Microsoft's low-code and automation platform, which encompasses Power Apps for custom application development, Power Automate for workflow and process automation, Power BI for analytics and reporting, and Power Virtual Agents for chatbot development. Power Platform contracting has grown significantly as Microsoft has positioned the suite as the productivity and automation layer of the Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems, enabling organisations to build custom applications and automated workflows without the overhead of full custom software development.
