Summary: The role of Power BI/Power Platform Consultant with Dataverse experience at 3Core Systems involves developing and maintaining reporting solutions, data models, and automated workflows using Microsoft Power Platform. The consultant will work within an enterprise platform team to enhance business intelligence and operational efficiency. This position requires strong technical skills in Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate, along with experience in Agile environments. The role is hybrid, based in Deerfield Beach, FL, with a duration of 6 months and potential extensions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models
- Write advanced DAX measures (e.g., time intelligence, rolling metrics)
- Build and manage dataflows using Power Query for data transformation
- Implement efficient data models and reusable data assets
- Manage deployments across Dev/Test/Prod environments
- Integrate data from Dataverse, SharePoint, Azure, and external APIs
- Develop Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) for business processes
- Build and maintain Power Automate workflows for integrations and approvals
- Design Dataverse schemas and data relationships
- Integrate with external systems via APIs and custom connectors
- Troubleshoot and optimize apps, flows, and reports
- Work in an Agile environment (standups, sprint planning, etc.)
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Provide support and guidance on Power Platform best practices
- Document solutions and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Configure Azure AD app registrations and authentication (OAuth)
- Support secure integrations using Key Vault and managed identities
- Utilize Azure DevOps for work tracking and CI/CD
Key Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
- Strong DAX and Power Query skills
- Experience with data modeling and Power BI deployments
- Familiarity with Dataverse and SharePoint
- Working knowledge of Azure AD and API integrations
- Experience in Agile delivery environments
- Microsoft certifications (PL-300, PL-200) preferred
