Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs
  • Integrate and interpret data from Rulebook (Verisk) and OpenTWINS (Trace) systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights
  • Optimise Power BI data models and ensure accuracy, performance, and usability
  • Maintain documentation for reports, data models, and processes
  • Work closely with IT and the Reporting team to ensure data quality and consistency
  • Support project delivery aligned with strategic objectives and timelines
  • Design and implement report templates for external client use while ensuring security, usability, and professional presentation
  • Ensure reports are compliant with relevant internal policies and industry regulations

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling
  • Solid understanding of insurance industry data and reporting needs
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including writing complex queries, procedures, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with or exposure to Rulebook (by Verisk) and OpenTWINS (by Trace) is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in building external-facing dashboards and understanding of report security and user access controls
