Summary: The Power BI Developer role requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in Google Cloud Platform and AI integration. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business users, product owners, and analysts to understand data needs and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Build interactive and scalable Power BI reports using data sourced from BigQuery and other Google Cloud Platform-native services.
  • Integrate Vertex AI and BigQuery ML to enhance reports with predictive modeling, natural language summaries, forecasting, and AI-powered insights within Power BI dashboards.
  • Translate business requirements into efficient data models and DAX expressions; transform data using Power Query and Python where needed.
  • Work closely with data engineers to ensure smooth ingestion, transformation, and availability of Google Cloud Platform data assets (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub).
  • Use AI/ML techniques from Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, BigQuery ML) to support predictive insights, anomaly detection, and optimization models.
  • Support data governance practices by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and security of data used in dashboards and models.

Key Skills:

  • 6-8 years in data analytics or BI development, with at least 2-3 years working in Google Cloud Platform environments.
  • Strong proficiency with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and custom visuals.
  • Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Storage, and Looker Studio is a plus.
  • Experience integrating AI models into dashboards using Vertex AI APIs, BigQuery ML, or Python-based services hosted on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Python for AI modeling and API integrations.
