Power BI Developer

Summary: The Power BI Developer role requires a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience in Power BI, focusing on DAX, Power Query, and report design. The position involves working with various Microsoft tools and cloud databases, while also managing team responsibilities and communicating with stakeholders. The role can be performed remotely or from Dallas, Texas, and is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design reports using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
• Utilize Microsoft Fabric, Power Apps, and Power Automate for enhanced reporting capabilities.
• Deploy and share reports using Power BI Service.
• Analyze SQL queries for performance improvements and create views/tables for reporting needs.
• Manage team responsibilities and delegate work effectively.
• Communicate with stakeholders and end-users to validate requirements.
• Work with Query Editor to connect to various data sources and develop data models.
• Create calculated tables, columns, and measures as needed.
• Develop custom reports and various types of tabular and matrix reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Manipulate and extract data using SQL.
