Summary: The role of Power BI Developer involves taking ownership of the Power BI life cycle to create user-focused solutions that meet complex business needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the Data Intelligence & Analytics team in a leading organization in the Operations sector. This is a 6-month contract based in London or Sheffield.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting Models: Designing robust semantic models using star schema principles and managing complex relationships.
  • Engineering DAX: Writing sophisticated measures and time-intelligence logic while ensuring every calculation is optimized for performance.
  • Modern Integration: Connecting to Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses, Azure SQL, and APIs to create a unified data truth.
  • Securing Insights: Implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and governance standards to keep data safe and compliant.
