The Role and Deliverables
- Engage with senior stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and recommend BI solutions.
- Take ownership of the existing Azure SQL Server environment, including databases, integrations, and API connections.
- Troubleshoot data quality, connectivity, and integration issues across multiple business systems.
- Support the development and enhancement of data warehouse architecture, data pipelines, and transformation layers.
- Design and deliver intuitive Power BI dashboards for commercial, finance, operational, and HR stakeholders.
- Translate complex business data into actionable insights and reporting outputs that support decision-making.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
- Advanced SQL development capability, ideally within Azure SQL Server environments.
- Experience managing and supporting existing database environments and data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data integration's, APIs, and troubleshooting complex data flows.
- Proven ability to deliver end-to-end BI solutions, from backend architecture through to visualisation.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, with exposure to AWS or GCP advantageous.
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to work independently and operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Commercial awareness and a strong focus on delivering business value through data.
- Experience within media, agency, creative, or other fast-moving commercial organisations is beneficial.
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, SAP-based platforms, or large-scale transformation programmes would be advantageous.
