Summary: The Mid-Level Power BI Developer role involves designing, building, and maintaining dashboards and reports to provide stakeholders with critical metrics. The position requires collaboration with business users, data engineers, and analysts to ensure accurate and impactful data visualization. The role is primarily remote but may require occasional on-site presence. The contract is rolling for a duration of 3 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and reporting solutions.
- Optimise existing reports for performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights that support strategic decisions.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting outputs.
- Stay up to date with new Power BI features and industry best practices.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience (2-4 years) with Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational databases (SQL Server preferred).
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling visualisations.
- Good communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with performance tuning and data optimisation within Power BI.
