Summary: The role of Power BI Developer involves joining a client on an initial 3-month contract, primarily working remotely with occasional travel to UK offices in Manchester, Birmingham, and London. The developer will be responsible for setting up a new Power BI platform, ensuring accessibility of reports and data for key users, and creating visualizations and dashboards. Strong experience with large datasets and SQL is essential, along with the ability to produce clean reports for management and investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up a brand-new Power BI platform for the organization, ensuring reports and data are accessible for the business and key users.
- Work with large amounts of data from a Data Warehouse.
- Create simple and clean reports for the board/management team for investors and C-suite meetings.
- Develop visualization dashboards.
- Utilize SQL and other data tools.
Key Skills:
- Experience in setting up Power BI platforms.
- Strong experience with large datasets and Data Warehousing.
- Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards.

- Familiarity with the transport industry and sales/utilization figures is a plus.

We are currently looking for an experience Power BI developer o to join our client on an initial 3-month contract.
- Looking for someone who has experience setting up a brand-new Power BI platform for the organisation, ensuring the reports and data is assessable for the business and key users
- Someone who has strong experience working with large amounts of data (from Data Warehouse)
- Strong experience creating simple and clean reports to the board/management team (for investors and C-suite meetings)
- Creating visualisation dashboards
- Working with SQL and other data tools
Any experience within Transport industry/working with sales figures and Utilization figures would be a nice to have but not a necessity.
