Summary: The Power BI Developer role involves designing and delivering real-time dashboards for a leading manufacturing and distribution business, aimed at enhancing operational and commercial decision-making. The position is crucial for driving transparency and enabling data-led strategies across multiple sites. The developer will work closely with various stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights. This is a contract position based in Chesterfield, requiring 3 to 4 days of onsite work per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build live operational dashboards for manufacturing and logistics teams, including Volume In / Volume Out, Repair Costs, Stock Levels, Purchase Prices, and performance analysis.
- Develop commercial dashboards for head office to track Profit vs target, Volume by trader and supplier, Tonnage vs Freight Cost Recovery (FCR), and operational vs commercial performance metrics.
- Integrate and model data from ERP systems and Sage into Power BI.
- Develop data warehousing solutions to support real-time reporting.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Operations, Commercial, and Finance to translate data into meaningful business insights.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in Power BI and dashboard development.
- Experience with data integration from ERP systems and Sage.
