Summary: The Power BI Developer/BI Reporting Consultant role involves designing and developing advanced reporting solutions for a globally recognized organization in the commodities and trading sector. The consultant will collaborate with various business stakeholders to enhance reporting capabilities that support decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and interactive reports
- Develop complex data models and create efficient, scalable reporting solutions
- Write and optimise DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs
- Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions
- Work with large and complex datasets from multiple data sources
- Build and optimise ETL/data transformation processes using Power Query and SQL
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting environments
- Produce visually compelling dashboards tailored for senior stakeholders and business users
- Support continuous improvement of BI and reporting capabilities
Key Skills:
- Strong commercial experience developing solutions in Power BI
- Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modelling
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to manipulate and interrogate complex datasets
- Experience creating highly detailed dashboards and sophisticated reporting solutions

We are working with a globally recognised organisation within the commodities and trading sector that is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer/BI Reporting Consultant to join them on a contract basis.
This role will suit someone who is highly analytical, commercially aware, and capable of translating complex business data into meaningful insights through advanced dashboards and reporting solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders across multiple functions to design, develop, and optimise reporting capabilities that support operational and strategic decision-making.
